The test is also used by experts as an auxiliary diagnostic tool, as it can reveal a lot about the condition of your body.
For the Shamrot window test, you need to connect your index fingers so that they touch your nails. If there is an empty space around the root of both nails that is similar to the shape of a diamond, then everything is fine.
However, if there is no such space, it is possible to have a disease such as lung cancer. Namely, certain conditions in the body are a sample of the accumulation of water, so the fingertips increase and there is no gap when they touch.
According to research conducted in the UK, this is a relatively common symptom of certain types of lung cancer, and can be a sign of heart failure and other diseases.
Nurse Emma Norton from Great Britain states that this condition is called “nail clubbing”. Clubbing stands for: C – cirrhosis, Crohn’s disease, L – lung abscess (lung abscess) U – ulcerative colitis B – brachial arteriovenous fistula B – bronchiectasis I – infective endocarditis N – neoplasia G – Graves.
She said that this test is also used by medical experts as a tool to determine the patient’s condition, which is further examined with detailed analysis.
Please note, this test is used only as an auxiliary method of diagnosis, for any official diagnosis or health problem, you should contact your doctor.
